PAKISTAN: ieri si sono svolte le elezioni politiche con un’affluenza del 40% circa dei votanti. Il tutto si è svolto in un clima di significativa violenza, purtroppo. Sembra che il partito del Presidente Musharraf sia stato battuto dall’opposizione. In Pakistan ci sono molte comunità domenicane di suore e frati. Il DSI ha posto qualche domanda a Suor Viviana Ballarin, OP, Superiora delle Domenicane di Santa Caterina da Siena, che hanno ben 13 comunità nel paese.
